Need
Leadership teams within Auxiliary Services were not consistently modeling DEI practices, leading to employee complaints and reduced inclusivity. While frontline staff received onboarding training, management needed tools to apply DEI principles in their leadership approach.
Solution
I collaborated with stakeholders to design a scenario-based training module focused on inclusive leadership. The slide deck included real-world examples to encourage reflection, vulnerability, and open dialogue around DEI challenges in the workplace.
Results
The training was delivered during onboarding and unit-specific sessions, where leaders expressed increased awareness of their role in modeling DEI. Feedback highlighted the importance of open communication and support, reinforcing my skills in designing impactful leadership training.
